What types of events do you DJ for?

I specialize in weddings, private parties, corporate events, and karaoke nights.

What equipment do you use?

I provide top-quality speakers, wireless handheld and lapel microphones, dance floor lights, and uplights. I do not provide photo booths or fog machines.

Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Yes, I do.

How early do you arrive to set up?

I aim to arrive 2 hours before the event starts. Setup typically takes 1 hour, but I allow extra time to ensure everything is perfect.

Are you fully insured?

Yes, proof of insurance can be provided upon request.

How can you charge less than other DJs?

Entertaining people is my passion, not just a business. Since DJing isn’t my sole source of income, I can offer high-quality services at a more affordable rate. I always aim to minimize costs without compromising quality.

What is your DJ style?

I’m an open-format DJ, meaning I play all genres of music. I avoid long sets of similar-sounding songs and strive to cater to all ages and musical tastes to keep everyone entertained. I also use the microphone between songs to engage the crowd and maintain excitement.

Do you provide a contract outlining the terms of service?

What is your pricing structure? Are there any additional fees?

I charge one flat rate. Additional fees only apply for requests that require extra time or expenses, and these will always be agreed upon in advance.

Do you have a backup plan in case of equipment failure?

Yes, I always carry backup equipment with me.

Can we request specific songs or genres for our wedding playlist?

Absolutely. After booking, I’ll send you a wedding questionnaire where you can list songs you’d like played, as well as any songs or genres you’d prefer to avoid.

Do you play Latin music?

Yes! I don’t speak Spanish, but one of my weekly venues attracts a lot of Hispanic patrons, and I play Latin music for them regularly. I’m familiar with all the dance styles: Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, Reggaeton, etc.

How do you handle song requests from guests during the event?

You can specify whether or not to allow guest requests at the reception. If allowed, I have an extensive music library and also use streaming services. You can also indicate which types of requests should be declined.

Will you act as an MC and make announcements during the reception?

Yes, I will.

Do you offer any additional services, such as photo booth rentals or fog machines?

No, I don’t. I recommend hiring specialized providers for those services.

How far in advance do we need to book your services?

While I can sometimes accommodate last-minute bookings (1 month or less), I recommend booking at least 1 month in advance. I also accept bookings more than a year ahead.

Are you available outside of your local area?

I typically cover areas within a 1-hour drive from ZIP code 30041 (Forsyth County, GA). However, I’m open to considering weddings farther away. Contact me with details.

What attire do you typically wear for weddings?

I wear whatever attire the client requests. For weddings, this is usually a suit and tie or bow tie. I also enjoy wearing a fedora, if the client approves.

Are you familiar with any specific cultural or religious music traditions that may be relevant to our wedding?

I’m familiar with many cultural traditions from around the world. If you have specific requests, I’m happy to research and prepare songs and traditions for your wedding.

Can you help us create a timeline for the reception, including special dances and other events?

Yes, I’d be happy to assist with that.

What is your booking process?

For weddings, I request this questionnaire to be filled out to gather basic information: Initial Wedding Questionnaire Using this, I’ll draft a contract. If everything looks good, you can sign it online. After receiving the signed contract, I request a 25% non-refundable booking fee to secure your date. Once the fee is paid, I’ll send a detailed questionnaire to finalize all event details, which should be completed no later than 30 days before the wedding. For other events, I only need the event address, start and end times, and the organizer’s name. I’ll create a contract for online signing and request a deposit, typically $100.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I prefer Venmo but also accept CashApp, Zelle, cash, or checks. I do not process credit card payments directly.

How many hours of service does your wedding package include?

My wedding service is not limited by hours. If you hire me, I’ll be there for the entire event. The duration is usually determined by the venue’s closing time.
